Congratulations to our S/H Middle School Academic Games team for finishing in 1st Place in the Academy of Our Lady Academic Games on Saturday, December 2.

This is the fourth year in a row that our Middle School Academic Games Team has brought home the 1st place trophy from AOL’s Games and our fifth 1st place finish since our first year competing in 2011.

S/H placed 1st in nine of the 19 events- Anatomy and Physiology (Killian Lyon and Roland Waguespack), Spelling (Jacob Smith and Charlie Varisco), Graph It (Tucker Schibler and PJ Varisco), US Government (Luke Balhoff and Darrick LeBeouf), SI Units (James Sundell and PJ Varsico), Health and Nutrition (Jacob Smith and Roland Waguespack), Wordy Math (Parker Alig and Mason Becker), LA History- (Luke Balhoff and PJ Varisco) and the Pentathlon (John Mantooth, Jacob Smith, Roland Waguespack, Will Gibbens and Charlie Varisco).

Our team also placed 2nd in two events: Draw It Out (Parker Alig, Quinn Rosenstein, and Tucker Schibler) and Grammar Patrol (Mason Becker and Degan Dansereau) and 3rd in Literary Devices (David Hulefeld and Mack Thomas).
