4-19-2020 OCL & Activities Update
April 19, 2020
Dear Parents,
We pray that you and your families are well. We look forward to our next week of Off-Campus Learning (OCL). In addition to our classes, we continue with our Stuart Hall traditional activities. Please make plans to participate in Spirit T-Shirt Day and our virtual Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.) Day on Wednesday. Also this week, our Kindergarten Sailor Class will virtually present our Quality of Honesty, with our Superheroes presenting next week. Our Tuesday Childpost will also provide updates about previous and upcoming activities.
In light of Governor Edwards’ official proclamation to educate students using a remote program instead of on campuses, we will conclude our 2019-2020 school year with our OCL Program. We are working on the details for the last weeks of school and closing programs, and will share them with you soon. Simultaneous to that work, we continue to monitor communications from the various levels of government, school officials, and school organizations concerning our highly anticipated safe reset for returning to on-campus activities. Thank you for your patient and thoughtful support of your sons, our boys, with the management of their OCL studies and learning environment during these unprecedented times.
As we actively continue our efforts to mitigate COVID-19, we offer our earnest prayers for all those who have been affected by the virus and those dedicated to serving us daily in the health and medical fields. “It matters much more to our Lord that you should be patient and keep peace of soul, than that everything should be done perfectly, efficiently and to the minute.” - Janet Erskine Stuart, RSCJ
